Summary

The Rappahannock County School Board is soliciting bids for the purchase of one 1982 12-passenger, gas powered engine, hereafter referred to as “vehicle" The vehicle is being sold in an “as is" condition. It is equipped with among other things, the following;

1) a new engine installed in 1994

2) a new Ricon lift installed in 1997 (for handicapped use), and !

3) tires in good condition .

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS

A Bidders must submit one original and two copies of their proposed bids

to David M Gangel, Superintendent, Rappahannock County School Board,

RIGHT TO REJECT

The Rappahannock County School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to contact any bidder prior to the award. The Board does not discriminate against any Bidder on any basis.

CONDITION OF VEHICLE

A The vehicle is in running condition, but is expressly being sold in a “AS IS'!

condition The Rappahannock County School Board shall not be liable for .

REQUIREMENTS The awarded bidder must remove the vehicle from the premises of the Rappa-! hannock County bus garage immediately, but no later than two weeks after! payment is received by the School Board

METHOD OF PAYMENT The awarded bidder shall submit a cashier’s check in the amount specified cn the bid to Rappahannock County Public Schools. 6 Schoolhouse Road. Washington VA 22747 The check must be submitted upon receipt of the bid award but no later than two weeks beyond the date of notification by the RCPS.
