I've labeled each one with their names and the year they received it. When they leave home to start their own families, each one of them will have a special starter collection to hang.
Christmas stockings are another favorite of mine. One year I sent my mother, sister and niece each a lovely handmade stocking that I found. I filled each with small little gifts and candies. They were a big hit.
I start looking for stocking stuffers throughout the year and putting them away in a safe place. A great place to find stocking stuffers is g. whillikers in Warrenton. They have a whole display of popping, hopping little animals and cars, marbles, whistles, puzzles and tops, paper airplanes and assorted rings and things.
I so enjoy having children to shop for because whether the item is large or small I get to enjoy it as well. I have as much fun with the trinkets and toys as they do.
Something high on my 9 year old's list this year is Kinex, and what an assortment to choose from. I'm thinking about the dinosaur or perhaps the large crane. Kinex is challenging and
