' Owned by Elizabeth Lee Harris, UnCommon Sense is a scenting emporium where she preates personal scents for customers. Working with her bottles of potions to create something pleasant, Harris looks like a pharmacist in an ancient apothecary shop. . "What we re trying to offer iS an opportunity for people to Choose their favorite scent," she explained.

With Christmas barreling down upon us, Harris might have the perfect gifts for husbands to buy their spouses.
UnCommon Sense sells gifit certificates, of course, but it also offers baskets of goodies that will appeal to the sensual side of most females. The baskets range in price from about $35 up to $225 for the "Honeymoon" basket — which includes cocoa butter that smells like chocolate, oils, ginsing for men, royal jelly for IWQmen and assorted creams and bath salts, soaps and soakers.
"We create bath therapy baskets, foot therapy baskets, love baskets — a smaller version of the Honeymoon basket — and baskets appropriate for Valentine's Day and weddings," Harris stated. ’ * She found the oils that she i^ses when she discovered a fcompany that made a moisturizer combining vitamins A, D «nd E, which according to Harris is not so easy to find.
"I used the moisturizer, «fnd the company had the iscents, and they work well," she said. "They are mostly -ejssential oils, and I wanted people to have a chance to try ^hem out. •• "Oils have healing properties, that's been very well documented, and you do experience it through the scent."
