The Flint Hill United Methodist Women met on Monday for their July meeting at the home of Shelby Welch.
Those in attendance were Mary F. Bywaters, Alice Pullen, Artis East, Mabel Lillard, Mary Curtis and Louise McCulloch. The program was led by Artis East.
Mrs. Barbara Gentry spent from Sunday until Wednesday at a postmaster’s convention in Hampton.
Mark and Diane Graves and Katelyn, Allison and Amy Lillard were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Edna Lillard.
The annual picnic of the Flint Hill, Willis Chapel and Sperryville Methodist churches was held on Sunday at the 4-H Center near Front Royal. The event was enjoyed by all with plenty of good food, swimming and fellowship.
