PURCHASING/QUALITY ASSISTANT
Glunz & Jensen, Inc., is looking for an Purchasing/Quality Assistant to work in our Logistics Department. Candidate must be able to efficiently handle all aspects of purchasing; to include creating and processing requisitions and purchase orders, negotiating price and delivery schedules with suppliers and expediting purchase orders. Position also provides administrative support to the ISO 9001 Quality Manager. Position provides back-up support to the service parts department. High school graduate or equivalent and 1-2 years experience in purchasing required. Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Windows and Office Products. Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and prior experience working within an ISO 9001 certified company a plus. Prior experience in internal auditing is a plus. A qualified candidate will be well organized, able to prioritize workload, able to resolve problems and have a professional telephone manner. Salary is commensurate with experience.
