Steven Wayne Kenney Jr., 31, of Front Royal died Saturday, July 14 in Warren Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, July 18 at Maddox Funeral Home with Rev. Diann Whetzel officiating. Burial followed in the Flint Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Kenney was born April 15, 1970 in Warren County, son of Paula Lang Elsca of Front Royal and the late Steven W. Kenney Sr.
He was a graduate of Warren County High School and was employed with Rubbermaid in Winchester. Mr. Kenney was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 4265 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 829.
Surviving with his mother are his wife, Kimberty Mae Kenney; a daughter, Ashley Nicole Kenney of Front Royal and a brother, Eric Wayne Elsca of Rodanthe, N.C.
Mary Cadd

Mary Brasher Cadd, 77, of Arroyo Grande, Calif. died July 2 at her residence.
Memorial services were held Friday, July 6 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Arroyo Grande with the Rev. Dr. Norman F. Somes officiating.
She was born July 9, 1923 in Sperryville.
She was raised in Virginia and was one of 13 graduates from her high school, 12 girls and one boy. She is only the second member of her graduating class to pass away. She graduated from the University of Maryland and received her Master’s Degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
She met her late husband, James Brasher, while attending the University of Maryland. They moved to Arroyo Grande in 1957 from San Bernardino.
Mrs. Cadd taught school in Texas, San Bernardino and Apple Valley and for Lucia Mar Unified School District for more than 29 years. She taught all grades through eighth except for fifth grade. She enjoyed traveling and cooking.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda McNeil and her husband Rex of Arroyo Grande; a brother, Robert Sealock of Fairfax and two grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, James Brasher and second husband, Aryles Cadd.
Arrangements were under the direction of Lady Family Mortuary and Crematory of Arroyo Grande.
