RoughRide

scheduled

The Fifth Annual Rappahannock RoughRide to be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, promises to be a very special one for Rappahannock County residents. For the past four years proceeds from the ride benefited the Fauquier Free Clinic. This year’s event will be the first to benefit the addition of a satellite clinic, the Rappahannock Free Clinic in Washington.

The clinic which opened its doors on Jan. 17 is located at the Health Department in Washington and is open the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 5:30 p.m.

The Rappahannock RoughRide is a fun bicycling event with rides for cyclists of all levels, a route for the beginner, a couple longer choices for the intermediate, and even longer and more challenging courses for the advanced.

To pre-register, send $20 ($18 before Sept. 14, $15 for children under 12) to: Rappahannock RoughRide, do Fauquier Free Clinic, Inc., RO. Box 3138, Warrenton, Va. 20188. Registration includes a long sleeve tee shirt (guaranteed to the first 350 registered riders) as well as the chance to win dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington or Four & Twenty Blackbirds.
