affirms inherent County goodness
There is the effort and money that will make an
historical survey a reality, the volunteerism that
made the William M. Carrigan and prior Independence Day celebrations a success, the count.less hours spent by County residents in support of .school educational and athletic activities, the hundreds of members of local conservation and environmental organizations and the million in dollars raised 'and conservation easements donated, the good works -of community and animal protection organizations, ;the tireless efforts of elected and appointed officials ;and staffs that make Rappahannock the place to live, 'the unsung work of many residents who support the good life here . . . and there is the nearly $100,000 in • dollars and labor contributed to make sure that the l County’s children know that they own the magic of ; creativity. ; The broad community involvement in and support ; to the Kid Pan Alley project and its “Tidal Wave of i Song” album is further testimony to the downright ' goodness of Rappahannock County and to the people • who were born and raised here, and to the like-mindf ed and like-spirited folk who felt the County calling. ; There is no question that, when released to the ; world, “Tidal Wave of Song” will in turn release some ; of that Rappahannock goodness to an ever more trou; bled globe.
