Resource International has , reached some preliminary conclusions on the design and costs of the collection component of a Town-wide wastewater treatment system, according to Washington Mayor Stew Willis. Their preliminary engineering report presents an “all-septic-tankeffluent-pump system” solution, and proposes a four-phase effort for the system’s installation.
The engineering estimate for the entire collection system is $480,350, but Mayor Willis contemplates focusing on the recirculating sand filter treatment system and phase one of the collection system, which appears to cover the bulk of the Town’s residences and businesses.
