Kilgore pushes
against feticide
again
; RICHMOND — Del. Terry G. Kilgore (R-Gate City), said he will try again during the 2002 General Assembly to establish a law eliminating feticide. . “One of the most important bills is the feticide bill that we passed in the House last year, and it died in the Senate,” Kilgore said.
House Bill 149, co-sponsored by Del. Scott L. Lingamfelter <RWoodbridgei, would impose a penalty for the homicide of a f^tus.
“We’ve worked on the bib and hopefully this year we'll be able to get it through the Senate and to the governor for his signature,” he said.

Jones mentioned the Charlotte (N.C.) Hornets because the team is looking to relocate in another city. ; “Six years ago, I passed legislation that, though it expired this January, would allow for tax rebates to pay off the debt service to construct (his 18,500-seat arena,” Jones said. “I'm working on professional sports in a very significant way.”
