culinary Arts class will provide dinner for teachers on Conference Night. Under the guidance of Chef Mary Arthur the students are. preparing a wonderful dinner for a very nominal fee. The staff is sure to be pleased. In the past the RCES PTO has asked our parents to help us by providing covered dishes for the staff to share. This time, however, the PTO thought that it would be a nice gesture to support the Culinary Arts class. We do, however, appreciate the offers to send food.
• “Because I care about my students.” “Because I want all of my students to learn.” “Because I am always looking for new ways to reach my students.” Ask any Rappahannock teacher why they are at school in the evenings or on weekends or during holidays, and you will probably hear one of these responses. We are so fortunate to have the level of commitment on our staff that we do, and all of our children benefit. Take time to say thank you on Parent Teacher Conference Night!
