ine second trip, which is open to eighth through twelfth graders, will go to Wintergreen. It leaves on Monday, returning on FridajJ. Both trips have the students buzzing, and they can’t come soon enough! J

• WCDS will be hosting its annual Science Fair on Jan!. 24-25th. The Science Fair ifc open to most grades, and the competition is fierce. Having had several months to work op the projects, the students are nearing completion and are ready to display their work.

Mrs. Teresa Mountjoy, Science Fair coordinator, has been busy lining up judges and dispensing advice, so Good luck!

• Winter weather plays havoc with school schedules, but WCDS is used to it. Whenever there is a question of whether or not school will be open, parents and families need only tune in tp their local radio station for up-dates.

There is also a message broadcast on the school’s answering machine. The school is looking into changing the phone system, which could give parents the option of hearing and leaving messages left on a voice-mail system.-.
