Introduction to Childcare 4 -week course designed to help our understanding of young children and their needs. This program provides basic informa tion for adults new to caring for very young children. Dates: Thursday, January 24,31, February 7,14 Times: 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Location: Early Learning Center of Germanna The Mysteries of Infant & Toddler Care Learn more indepth about the early years of young children from experts in the field. Get a better understanding of how to handle the ups and downs of the age. Dates: Thursdays, February 7,14,21 Times: 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Location: Early Learning Center of Orange Introduction to Teaching 6-week course designed for those interested in getting more involved with children.This program teaches about preschool activities, types of toys, and achieving positive behavior. Completion of this course will qualify participants for the 12 hour state required training certificate. Dates: Mondays, February 25, March 4,11,18,25, April 1 Times: 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Location: Early Learning Center of Culpeper Ethics in Childcare This is an excellent program that explains and discusses ethics in childcare. It provides wonderful insight into customs, laws, and current thinking. Date: Saturday, April 13 Time: 8:30 a m-3:30 p.m. Location: Children's Center of Madison Positive Behavior Patterns in Children A gatherinq of information to help you find the answers you need for that one child.
