On Thursday, Jan. 3 parents, teachers, school administrators, and other community members were treated to the second annual Life After High School forum, sponsored by Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation.
The forum was organized to give the community and the school system an opportunity to find out how well Rappahannock County High School prepares its students for life after graduation.
The emphasis of the forum was community involvement in the education of county young adults, and judging from the packed library meeting room, Rappahannock citizens possess a strong instinct for such public participation. The room was alive with vigorous discussion as a panel of five RCHS graduates answered questions from audience members and from moderator Timothy O’Meara.
