August meeting
for Democrats
The August meeting of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will be on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at the Rappahannock Library at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda will the Aug. 13 meet & greet hosted by Barbara Stockton and Helen Williams, the yard sale slated for Saturday, Aug. 31 and updates on the Ben Jones for Congress campaign.
The Committee meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month at the Library. Refreshments and conversation follow every meeting and all are welcomed. For information on the Committee or any other matter relating to local Democratic activities, visit www.RappDems. org or call 675-3515.

• Monday, Aug. 5 the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will meet at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock Courthouse.
• Tuesday, Aug. 13 the Rappahannock School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the RCHS Band Room.
• Wednesday, Aug. 14 the Washington Town Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Town Hall.
