Each story is a metaphor for the struggles that women, particularly Muslim women, endure. Directed by Marzieh Meshkini; Mohsen Makhmalbaf is writer.
Nov. 15: “Road to Perdition” (R, 119 minutes) Michael Sullivan (Tom Hanks) is a hit man for an Irish gang during the Depression. But when he loses his wife and his son, Sullivan and his surviving son (14-year-old-newcomer Tyler Hoechlin) set out on a journey of self-discovery and revenge. Also stars Paul Newman and Jude Law.
