After all, you may have just moved out here to escape that very “progress” that you want to impose on us. For those of you who have grown up here, who enjoy low taxes, don’t worry about locking your doors, and whose children safely enjoy the freedom of wandering around the town, just take a drive into Fairfax or Warrenton for a little “heads up” as to what “progress” means to the residents of a community. If you don’t appreciate what you have now in this lovely town and county, then you certainly will when it no longer exist — that’s what some folks refer to as “the good ole days”.
