The delectable menu included smoked salmon wraps, calamari salad, multicolored tomatoes with mozzarella and basil from The Epicurious Cow, Satay chicken with Peanut Sauce and Carrot Cake made by one hostess, Mary Walsh, and a deliciously spiked watermelon provided by Mr. Rick Wasmund, creator of the Copper Fox Distillery in Sperryville.

The Sperryville United Methodist Church invites you to attend it’s Vacation Bible School on Aug. 5-9, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The theme is “Parables of Jesus” and the week’s activities will include bible stories, singing, crafts and much more.
On Friday Aug. 9, the final evening of bible school, attendees will be treated to a very special puppet show presented by the children of the Luray United Methodist Church. Please come and enjoy a very special week at the church.
