On Tuesday, July 23, Brian Lee was awarded the most prestigious Untied States Marine Musicianship Award for 2002 by Gunnery Sgt. Perez from Martinsburg. W.Va. , The award honors both high levels of musical participation and sendee to the organization.
As a senior Lee was actively involved with both the trumpet and the RCHS Druinline. as well as sending as Uniform Staff head.
Only two other Rappahannock band students have previously received this 1 .'coveted award their senior ‘ year: Marshall Gangel and I Samantha Breeden. I
