His fiance, Mandy Harper, is helping with the traditional Changing of the Colors ceremony held Saturday at Walnut Ridge, home of the Rappahannock Hunt kennels. “The huntsman’s job is not a dictatorship. It is a love affair with the hounds. They look at Michael as their Daddy,” says Janet O’Keefe, who is joint master of the Hunt with Oliver Brown, Michael’s.father and former huntsman of the Hunt for 20 years.
