Leslie Marie Byram and Timothy Scott Settle were married June 1 at Oakton United Methodist Church in Oakton.
About 130 guests attended the afternoon wedding. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Phillip Bailey of Washington Baptist Church. A reception was followed by a sit down dinner at the Tysons Westpark Hotel in McLean.
The bride’s good friends, Chris Boyd and Mary Stout decorated the church with roses, delphinium, iris, snapdragons, and Queen Anne’s lace.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother, Claire Marie Byram.
The bride’s dress was an ivory satin A-line halter dress with embroidered and beaded bodice and hem which featured a cathedral train complete with appliqued lace, pearls and cutwork. Her elbow-length veil included a silk flower halo and she carried a hand-tied bouquet of bridal white roses and soft greens with a white ribbon.
The mother of the bride wore a floor length navy blue gown with silver studded daisies crisscrossed in the back.
The groom’s mother, Tansy Frazier, wore a metallic silver knit mock neckline outfit with a navy blue floor length skirt.
