The Rappahannock Athletic Association 16 and under All-Star softball team recently capped off a very successful spring season by placing third in the State Championship Babe Ruth tournament hosted by Greater Manassas Softball in mid-July.
Awarded Era W.O.W. pins, a newly-developed Babe Ruth national program sponsored by Proctor & Gamble to recognize players making special effort at the tournament level, were Eva Mills, Sarah Mills, Mazie Drake, Mattie Nawrocki, Brandy Early and Megan Payne, who was also specially commended by the Babe Ruth State Commissioner.
