Named the 2002 Virginia Babe Ruth District 3 (consisting of Rappahannock, Greene, Madison, Orange, and Peachtree leagues) 16 and under Champions, this team was rostered with 12 of the 16 members of the RAA regular spring season softball team Diamonds.
Sponsored by the Rappahannock Lions Club, the Diamonds posted a 2002 regularseason record of 9-0-1.
