Happy birthday to Dorothy Carroll of Pawhatan, who celebrated her day on Tuesday, Aug.- 13, to Kelly McDonald McCormick of Fodderstack Road, who will celebrate his Kith birthday on Thursday, Aug.. 15 and to Brenda McDonald of Haymarket on Saturday, Aug. 17.

The annual Washington Baptist Church picnic is on Sunday, Aug. 18 at the Rappahannock Park starting at 5 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish. The church is providing hamburgers, hot dogs and utensils. Invite a family member or friend and join in the fun.
