Boy Scout Troop 36 spent the past weekend camping at Wakefield Manor, the estate of Col. and Mrs. R. Dickey, near Huntly.
When the Patrol Leaders Council met in August to decide on the program for the coming Scout year, they had no idea early December would bring record low temperatures to Rappahannock County.
The troop had spent most of November preparing for the camp out, taking a break to enjoy a visit from Rappahannock County Sheriff Larry Sheretz, and a talk concerning our constitutional rights and responsibilities. -
