Braeland Studio has been located in Flint Hill for seven years, but the retail outlet is of relatively recent origin.
“We thought, This will be great. We can have a real cottage industry here.' We were encouraged by the local people who live here to open up a store and let people see what we have. So we had an open house in May 2001 and then people were coming in and getting hostess gifts, and the store just grew out of that.
