I his months horticulture exhibits were numerous. Janet Eastham, Betty Wood, Ruth Baumgardner, Mary Priest, and Maggie Bracewell won blue ribbons for their branches with berries. Sandra Anderson and Carolyn Thornton won blues for their flowering house plants. Sandra Anderson, Aney Hoehn, Marueen Harris, and Janet Eastham won honors for their foliage houseplants. Susan Jones won a “best in show” for her winterberry berries.
The garden club will be again selling greenery that they cut and assemble themselves into beautiful wreaths, swags and garlands. Available are boxwood and mixed greens wreaths, swags with bows and mixed greens garlands.
