In response to questions asked by the Scouts, Sheriff Sheretz also spoke about some of his early experiences in law enforcement and the effect they had in determining his future.
This, and the fact that Sheriff Sheretz had his original Boy Scout uniform and handbook to show the troop, left the definite impression that Scouting exhibits a positive influence on a boys life.
Other meetings during the month were spent teaching, learning and practicing knot tying and lashing skills and planning for a troop pioneering project to be constructed during a subsequent camp out at Wakefield Manor in the Spring.
