Each of the three participating patrols developed orienteering skills sufficient to find a reward of candy bars buried in the snow at various points in the woods about camp.

Sharpening skills

After several snowball fights and some sledding, the Scouts cooked dinner and shared company around the campfire.

When it was sufficiently dark for the stars to be viewed the troop learned to find the North Star using the constellations Cassiopeia
