WCDS sent seven students to Washington, D.C., last week for the Organization of American States convention. Leaving late Wednesday night to beat the expected storm for Thursday morning, they spent the next three days working with representatives from 33 Schools across the country.
Michael Vargo, headmaster at WCDS, and Doug Weaver, history teacher at the school, chaperoned the students. Making the trip were Alec Toth, Steven Fernandez, Stephen Dowell, Liz Williams, David Riedel, Hannah Morgan and Michelle Fegeas.
