Rappahannock County Department of Social Services is continuing its annual tradition of collecting food and monetary donations to assist families in need during the holiday season.
All donations are used to aid families in need, elderly citizens and the foster children of the county in having a happy holiday.
The Office is open daily from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., donations are accepted in person at the office at 354 Gay Street or may be mailed to P.O. Box 87 Washington, Va. 22747-0087. Donations will be accepted until Friday Dec. 20. For additional information call the office at 675-3313.
