Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jones spent four days at Chincoteague with family and friends for Thanksgiving: Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Poland, Crockett, 8, and Forrest,5, Camilla Jones-Harding along with Mr. and Mrs. Ron Knight of Spotsylvania.

The family enjoyed good seafood, bird watching, shelling on the beach; watching the ponies, endangered squirrels, the little sika deer and the hands-on museum.

And also the indoor pool and hot tub along with shopping an antiquing.

Mr. and Mrs. Jones and Crockett drove down to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel for bird watching, and saw a fisherman catching large Rockfish.

Well, what did you all think of the snow that fell last week? It was pretty nice to have the white stuff with us again. I am sure a lot of folks are happy about the moisture reaching their wells; maybe a few more snow storms, and we won’t have drought conditions next year.
