Hikes scheduled
The second Saturday hike series will continue on Saturday, Dec. 14. The hike up Big Devils Stairs is considered moderate-to-difficult. Those interested should meet at Mountainside Market, 987-9100 on U.S. 211, west of Sperryville by 8:30 a.m.

The moon is full on Dec. 18. and a full moon hike will be planned. Dates are likely to be scheduled between Dec. 15 and Dec. 19. There will probably be at least two hikes during that span, and possibly an intensive hike-run. Input and interest are welcomed. Contact Hunt at 9873366.
