Rappahannock County's .School Board voted unanimously Tuesday, with one abstaining, for David Covington to fill the elementary school s principal vacandy.
The abstaining vote was Aline Johnson who is the mother-in-law of Carol Johnson, elementary school assistant principal, who also was considered for the position.
Covington has spent the past three years as principal of GLH
