Approximately 250 relatives and friends attended the Hoover-Mills wedding last Saturday at Massanova Pentecostal Church with the reception following at the Camp Ground Paviliou. The cake, decorated in a farm setting was baked by Knakals Bakery of Culpeper. Following a wedding trip to Maine, the newlyweds will be residing in Pennsylvania.
Wedding anniversary wishes go out to Mr. and Mrs. Emerson (Helen) Williams of Aaron Mountain Road who celebrate another year together Friday, Aug. 1 and may the good Lord grant them many more, now that they both are retired.
Happy birthday wishes are extended to Betty Myers whose day is Saturday and Becky Tuel who celebrates Sunday.
Heartfelt sympathy is extended to Mrs. Julia Brook Quaintance Monaco and her family upon the passing of her husband, Richard last Sunday. Julia was a junior and senior classmate of this writer at Culpeper High School.
