Diana’s Country Diner #2 in Sperryville opened its doors about four weeks ago. Fulltime waitress Sharon Bright is a Castleton native. She grew up in a house across the road from Laurel Mill’s Store.
Sharon remembers how she loved playing at the swimming hole under the bridge. Jeff Dickerson, who has been cooking for about 20 years, whips up some great meals. If you haven’t dined there yet, give it a try. They offer great home-style food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. They also serve breakfast all day. Take-out is available (987-3305).
The Diner is open Wednesday - Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
