Mrs. W. R. Pritt and April of Stevensburg were Sunday luncheon guests of Mrs. D. J. Dodson of Salem Way.
We are pleased to see Mrs. Edith Green out again, after a stay in Culpeper Regional Hospital and recuperation in Culpeper Health Care Center.
In addition to Mrs. Green others on our prayer list include, Mrs. Mabel Ralls, Mrs. Elizabeth Switzer, Mrs. Beatrice Sheppard, Mrs. Lillie Johnson, Mrs. June Brooks, Janet Peregory, Nina Peyton’s brother, Bill, Mrs. Jean Sabol, Mrs. Daisy Lucas and Mrs. Eunice Meade.
Quite a large group, many from our area attended the “Singing and Pickin” party at Salem Fire Hall Friday evening, in which Roger Rutherford of Sperryville, Heather Berrey of Winchester, Lennie Bowden of Harrisonburg and Pastor Jeff Light and Novum Baptist Church choir, all had a part on the program, as well as John Triplett on his banjo, at 85 years of age.
