Five of the eight candidates foi supervisor attended the session including Robert P Anderson, incumbent. running unopposed in the Stonewall-Hawthorne District; Bryant Lee. incumbent, and W. F. Yogi' Bear both Hampton District and Ronald L Fraz.ier. incumbent, and L. G. "Butch' Zindel. both Jackson District.

Not attending were Jack Atkins, £ challenger in Jackson District; Rogei A. Welch, incumbent and unopposed Wakefield District; and Charles K Pete’ Estes, incumbent and unop posed. Piedmont District.

RLEP President Robert Lander read letters from the candidates not in attendance.

In his letter Atkins expressed alarm and stated that it wa; "extremely unfair that candidates would not see the questions in advance and would have only a minute to respond.
