The Hackley’s Country Store Pickin Party was an evening under the stars one recent fall night with several musicians providing the entertainment. Over 10 pickers from Rappahannock and surrounding counties came together and entertained a crowd who enjoyed fresh-baked pizza and hand-dipped ice cream as they listened to some great music. The Amissville Ruritan Club held a 50/50 raffle which was won by Sheriff Larry Sherertz. He donated his winnings back to the Amissville Rurifan Club for use in its community activities.
