" They’re constantly coming in, every time we go to the web site to look."
Kreyling said her printer reported that calendars will be available on Tuesday. She said there is an initial printing of 5,000 calendars. They will be sold throughout the county at Griffin Tavern, the Flint Hill Public House, Cinema Paradiso Movie Rentals, Central Coffee and BlueRidgeMac.
Meanwhile, a call to School Superintendent Bob Chappell to receive an update on the calendar issue from the schools' perspective resulted in his supplying a press release prepared for "the media."
"The comments below are being provided to the press. Neither the School Board nor the administration will make any further comment on this subject," said Chappell in the press release.
The press release has the following statement from Chairman Wes Mills:
"I stand behind the decision made by the School Board at the Sept. 9 meeting in regard to the calendar fund-raiser by the "Friends of the Track." My biggest concern was and is the message this sends to the students. I do not anticipate that
