Good grief. Sanctimonious? Holier-Than-Thou?
Ungrateful? Humorless? All of the above! Life is too serious, we should all welcome the opportunity to be light-hearted, especially for a worthwhile cause.
Cathy Kreyling, when you deliver that big fat check from the proceeds of your calendar, be sure and wrap it in plain brown paper. Maybe the School Board will feel better about accepting it. Better yet, I know several volunteer Fire and Rescue companies who would be happy to.take the money.
Ml buy a hundred of them if you decide they are the more worthy recipients. If you are considering following up next year with a calendar featuring the women of Rappahannock County, give me a call. I’ll wear my stethoscope!
