article, “Men of Rappahannock County bare all to build school track,” has prompted me to write about the issue.
I was taught, early in life, that my character was an important trait, one that would follow me the rest of my life. I was taught that having a good character was far greater than having my name in the headlines.
How can the students of our schools be taught that character counts when the leaders of the county are making news on the front pages of the paper promoting a pornographic calendar to help raise money for the track? Where is the logic in that idea?
The statement was made that “it takes guts to take your clothes off and be photographed.” I differ with that opinion. It takes “guts” to keep your clothes on and be a man with character and morals It’s a sad day in Rappahannock County when I nave to scan the
