The key person, perhaps lone person, on Rappnet against the calendar is Jim Oyster, who is running for the Hampton District School Board seat against Meredith Gorfein.
"While the cause of raising funds for a new track at the high school is worthy, the use of the nude calendar' as a vehicle for raising those funds conflicts with the values of the Rappahannock County community as a whole,"Oyster wrote.
He challenged Gorfein to "clarify her position" as her husband. Hank, is one of the nude models in the calendar.
