Nearly 800 acres of Washington’s scenic western backdrop have been protected from development forever by an Oct. 6 recording of the Whippoorwill Farm conservation easement.
“This easement is one of the most significant because of where it is,” said Bob Dennis, an authority on county land preservation. “This adds to a significant cluster next to the county seat, protecting the setting of the Tbwn of Washington.”
