Rappahannock County High School junior Robbie Swann works on a cake at the Skills USA competition at the State Fair in Richmond Sept. 29. Swann's cake took fourth out of 25 entries. RCHS's Carrie Yingling took first in the knife skills competition for the second year in a row. Jeremy Miller finished tenth out of the 22 students entered in the knife skills event. In residential wiring, Tim Williams placed tenth out of 30.
