Bill Payne and his family will donate their professional auction services once again. CCLC will take checks, credit cards and, of course, cash.
A preview night will be held at the Washington School on Friday, Nov. 12 from 6-8 p.m. Only live and silent auction items will be available for preview. CCLC will accept absentee bids that evening for individuals who will not be able to attend the Saturday night auction. Nothing will be sold in advance.
All funds from this auction will go toward the Scholarship Fund for the preschool and school age programs. The Child Care and Learning Center is completing its 28th year of serving families in the community, providing high quality preschool, day care, and afterschool programs for local children, at as low a cost to families as possible. CCLC mainstreams the economically disadvantaged and developmentally delayed children with families who can afford full tuition by soliciting donations for scholarship.
A not-for-profit institution, CCLC serves a representative cross-section of all children from our community. The center also provides Rappahannock County’s Head Start program for 18 three and four vear olds.
