The weather was perfect this weekend—with the changing color of the leaves and gorgeous sunshine— for festivals around the county.

The 13th annual Woodville Festival was a great success. It was one of the nicest community gatherings I’ve ever attended. The view was amazing and the sunset, even on a cloudy afternoon, was warm and glowing over the softness of the rolling blue hills and mountains. It was truly a relaxed neighborhood gathering, with the music of the John Triplett band performing in the background. Then there was the food, oh my, what a spread! It was truly an old fashioned “groaning board.”
