The new 796-acre easement adjoins another 51 acres of Whippoorwill that was recorded in August and runs to the top of Jenkins Mountain.
“I think the beauty of the property speaks for itself,” said Sharon Luke, trustee for Whippoorwill, LLC, which put the property into the easement. “A small group of owners and myself have been planning this for awhile.”
