On Oct. 6, the Panthers lost at home to George Mason. 34-25. Alex Ramey won the race in a Bleu Rock Inn course record 17:37. Kevin Martin finished fourth with a personal best of 18:45 and Josh Makela finished sixth in 19:15, also a personal best.
“Seven out of our eight runners had per- I sonal best times in the race,” coach Mick Strand said. “I am very proud of how well this team is progressing. There is great team unity which should result in a trip to the regionals.”
