Roosters drop
a close one
The Red Roosters U-12 boys team lost to Rivanna, 3-2, last Saturday in Madison. The Roosters got down early after Rivanna scored twice. In the second half, Jonathan Letsen scored the Roosters’ first goal on a feed by Dane Wellemeyer. The Roosters tied the game when Tanyor Lee put a shot into the top left comer of the goal. Goalkeeper James White held off Rivanna for most of the game, but couldn’t stop a late goal. Coed U-18 rebounds
After an 11-1 loss to Shenandoah two weeks ago, the Rappahannock U-18 coed team bounced back with an 8-1 win over Culpeper last Saturday.
